Troy, Brooke, and Eric have all been the best of friends since they were pups. When they were sixteen, Eric and Brooke began a relationship that ten years later is stronger than ever. However, one night, Brooke finally gets her mating bond, and it’s not to the male she’s loved for a decade, but rather, Troy. Eric urges the two of them to explore their fated bond, as his might come in soon, too. When a misinterpreted action leads Troy to claim Brooke officially, she’s tied to him forever.
Six months later, miserable with how things have turned out, Troy proposes that he and Eric share Brooke. The arrangement: she’s with Troy enough to keep him from going into rut and hurting her during her times in heat, and then the rest of the time she and Eric can be together, like they had been before the bond happened.
Will Troy, having been in love with Brooke for most of their lives, be able to take his mate being with another? What happens if Eric mate bonds with someone else? Once Brooke has let go of the anger and resentment over Troy claiming her, will it give room for feelings to grow, or will it be too late?
Tropes: healing/comfort, what if we were all together?, MMF, heats and knotting, she hates him/he hates himself, forced to work out her heats together, fated mates, couple torn apart

Content Warnings
Cliffhanger Ending: This story ends with a cliffhanger. The next book will be available in about a month.
Suicidal Ideation: One of the MMCs struggles with whether or not he should end his life. The current state of his life is miserable. In considering to leave the pack, he also considers whether he will need to end his life to prevent himself from harming the FMC when he goes into rut.
Abduction: There are references to the previous book and the abduction of one of the members of their pack. At the end, several members of the pack are taken.
DubCon/Consent Issues: There is a misinterpretation of actions by one of the MMCs with regard to the FMC, leading to him claiming her against her wishes. She never explicitly tells him not to, and she kept baring her neck to him in their shared pleasure. Heats happen each month to the females, making them overly aroused and desiring to be bred. Pack rules say that a claimed female can only work out her heats with her bonded mate, to keep him from going into rut. When in rut, a male will feel compelled to breed the female without regard for her safety or consent. At no point does the MMC go into rut, but it is a constant worry. The abductees, at the end, are injected with something to make it easier to take them.
Abuse (Verbal): The FMC is angry that the one MMC claimed her. She verbally berates and tells him terrible things every time they have to get together.
Violence and Gore: There is mention of an attack on the FMC of the previous book. There is fighting at the end of this book, including injuries and loss of life.
Restraint of Movement: Restraint is used in some sexual play. There is a point where one of the MMCs pins the FMC to the bed to stop her from pulling off his knot too early and injuring herself.
